So yeah… almost 2 full years ago I started this blog. If it were not for my highly vigilant money conscious husband alerting me to the WordPress renewal fee I would have forgotten about it all together. I guess a lot has happened since October 2019 and I should forgive myself for not having the brain space to keep up with a blog. I mean, let’s be honest, the fact that I am alive, my babies are healthy, and my marriage is in tact is a miracle and a half.

Alas, here I am, making the most of the few minutes I have before my three year old wakes up demanding I resume my given role as “Lightning McQueen” and my three month old wakes up angry that he hasn’t been fed in the last 20 minutes. How dare I.

My goal when I started this blog was to be a support for anyone who wanted to understand what the hell their children were learning in math (and why). A lot has happened over the past couple of years so I am not sure exactly where I will go with this, but it is bound to be entertaining… so come with me!
